The Senses 82 is Soel's largest yacht: 25 m, a very wide 13 m beam, and twelve berths, from €7.195m. Its closest structural rival in this batch is the Silent 80 Tri-Deck — near-identical length at 24.3 m — and the pricing gap is the first thing a buyer should confront. The Soel asks roughly €1.7m more. The beam advantage is substantial and translates directly into deck and saloon width, and twelve berths is serious capacity, so there is something behind the premium. But it is a large premium to justify on volume alone.

What is not published, and why it matters here

No motor output, battery capacity, top speed or range appears on the listing. Against a rival that publishes 429 kWh, 340 kW motors and an 18-knot top speed, that silence is conspicuous. At seven figures the propulsion package is not a detail — it is most of what distinguishes a solar-electric yacht from a conventional catamaran with panels on the roof.

This is a boat for a buyer already committed to the solar-electric case and willing to conduct a proper technical due diligence with the yard: request the pack size, installed power, solar array rating in kWp, whether a generator range extender is fitted, and a documented range at a stated speed. Do not shortlist it on styling.
