What you are actually buying

At 7.9 m with 205 kW and a 166 kWh pack, the 100.2 is the outlier of the group: an electric boat built for performance rather than endurance, with a 43.5-knot top speed and a Sealence DeepSpeed 420 steerable waterjet pod in place of a prop or sterndrive. Add Zagato's reverse bow and wraparound screen and the buyer profile is clear — someone acquiring a design object and a piece of engineering, probably as a fast tender or a statement day boat on a Mediterranean berth with reliable charging.

The arithmetic of speed

The 47 nm range is quoted at a 24-knot cruise, which works out at roughly 3.5 kWh per nautical mile — around five times the consumption of the displacement boats in this band. Range at the full 43.5 knots is not published, and will be materially lower. Anyone whose use case involves distance rather than sensation should look elsewhere; 166 kWh also implies a serious charging installation, not a domestic socket.

Two honest caveats. Price was undisclosed as of the 2023 source, so treat any figure you are quoted as new information rather than confirmation. And the azipod supplier is young: ask directly about warranty terms, service network and parts availability before the hull impresses you into skipping that conversation.
