A halo model, not a rational purchase

The M 800-R is Marian's collaboration with ABT Sportsline, the German tuner best known for its work on Audi and Volkswagen. It uses the 7.9 m M 800 platform and is positioned as a luxury electric sports boat; ABT's own launch material describes a strictly limited series of 20 boats. That scarcity, and the automotive brand attached to it, is a large part of what is being sold.

Our listing carries no motor output, no battery capacity, no speed and no price for the M 800-R — only the length. For a boat whose entire proposition is performance, that is a striking gap, and it means the R cannot be compared with either its own siblings or outside rivals on any published measure. Whatever it costs will sit well above the M 800 Spyder's €194,000 base.

This suits a collector who wants a numbered, brand-collaboration boat and is comfortable buying on reputation and a personal viewing. It does not suit anyone weighing electric sports boats against each other on range, endurance or price per kW — the Nero 777 Evolution, for instance, publishes its full powertrain choices and lets a buyer do exactly that. Ask for a signed specification and a delivery slot before any deposit.
