An unusually low price, and the questions it raises

At €67,650 for a 7.2 m electric day boat, the Omega 7.2 undercuts most of this market by a wide margin — roughly a fifth of a Candela C-8, and below several considerably smaller boats. That alone makes it worth investigating for lake and sheltered-coastal day use, rental and hotel fleets, or a first step into electric boating without a six-figure commitment.

The specification gap

Our listing carries no motor or battery figures because Helios does not publish them per configuration. The yard's own launch material for the 2025 Cannes premiere describes two motor options, a modular in-house LFP pack spanning a wide capacity range, a solar roof, a 48 V architecture and CCS fast charging. What it does not do is tie a price to a configuration, and the quoted figure almost certainly reflects the entry combination. A boat with the largest pack and the higher-output motor will cost substantially more.

So the essential buyer's task here is arithmetic the yard has not done for you: get the exact battery capacity, motor rating and a stated range at cruising speed attached to the quoted price, in writing. A 48 V system is safe and serviceable but caps continuous power. Add to that a young company with no established service network, and the low price starts to look like a fair trade rather than a bargain.
